About Us Lesley began her horticultural career as the Education Coordinator of the VanDusen Botanical Gardens in Vancouver Canada. She continues to work as a horticultural consultant and garden designer, including among her private clients a Lieutenant Governor, government agencies and parks departments, historical societies, as well as garden lovers of all ages.
Her miniature career began many years ago with furniture, dolls and accessories for 1/2 scale and garden railroads, but has evolved into the field she knows best, plants and garden design. Her aim is to present miniatures which can commemorate the creation of new hybrids, as well as accurately depict historic landscapes and add to the realism of those who enjoy scale collections. Our sites resident Jack Russell Terrier is shown here with coins to indicate his scale. He is 1 inch high and 1 and 3/4 inches long from the tip of his tail to the tip of his snout. We will use him in most of our site photos as a scale reference. He was purchased at the Singing Tree many years ago and we would love to know his maker so that we can credit them! |
